Founded in Oklahoma City in 1910. Capitol Steel's first years
were spent fabricating reinforcing steel. Eager to secure a
larger share of the construction market, we expanded into the
structural steel business in 1929.
Upon completion of our plant in 1930, the country was mired
in its worst depression. During the lean years that followed
Capitol managed to grow by building additional structures
and buying new equipment when finances permitted.
Our growth has continued and today Capitol Steel is serving
the national market as a leader in the bridge business. Our reputation lies in getting the right
material to the job - on time - at a competitive price.
